MoneySense magazine says P.E.I. is one of the top 11 least expensive places in the world to retire in.

A recent article in the Guardian Newspaper stated that PEI is considered by MoneySense Magazine to be one of eleven top places to retire. It stated that along with Costa Rica, Belize, Italy, Uruguay, France, Argentina, Vietnam, Panama, Thailand and Ecuador retirees could expect to be able to retire on $30,000 per year. Montague-based Aspin Kemp announced on Friday a major contract with GE`s global offshore and marine division.
